Framed (17" x 15") etching/aquatint on paper titled, “Gossips.”

It is marked 7 of 20 and signed by the artist, Sandra Uhle. A resident of Philadelphia and member of the Lord’s New Church, she was also known as Sandra Uhle Sawin, her married name.

The work dates from the mid ‘60s. It was purchased from the artist’s estate in 1991. It is in its original walnut frame which is edged with gold or metal leaf and in very good condition. The glass is original. The mat was replaced by the Toros at Huntingdon Valley Frame Shop and is now 8 ply rag mat with a rag backing. The Woodmere Art Museum has at least one of her works.
